Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Petrol Model

Good news for the auto sector despite the economic slowdown as the booking for Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has crossed the 10,000 units. Showcased during the 2020 Auto Expo and then, launched on Monday – 24th Feb 2020, the Brezza is powered by a petrol engine while the diesel model has been discontinued. The starting price for the petrol model is around Rs. 7.34 lakhs and may vary according to the customer’s model choice. The car has already achieved its booking milestone just within 20 days of the official start of pre-booking that had commenced on 6th February.

While Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is off to the magnificent start, Maruti Suzuki Ignis is also gaining a healthy start as it is registering more than 1,500 bookings since it was unveiled on 7th February and was officially launched on 18th February. After the debut at the Auto Expo 2020, Maruti Suzuki announced the prices for the cars on Monday and Brezza was unveiled at Rs. 7.34 Lakhs, the ex-showroom price for Delhi. The new model is powered by a K15B 1.5 liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine. It has mild-hybrid tech that makes 103 bhp and 138 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission with the option of Suzuki’s four-speed automatic torque converter unit. The company has kept the Smart Hybrid technology for the only automatic variant of the Vitara Brezza.

The variants are available to suit the customer’s needs and other changes are only cosmetic predominantly. The car gets an updated chrome front grille, new LED projector headlamps with DRLs and redesigned fog lamp. Also, the company has redesigned the tail lamps with new LEDs and the color it offers is dual-tone paint.
