Mr. Vinayak K. Deshpande – Managing Director of TATA Projects is a chemical engineering graduate from IIT, Kharagpur in 1980. He has over 4 decades of extensive experience in numerous roles across industries. He began his career with boilers and captive power plants at Thermax, industrial automation and process controls at TATA Honeywell to infrastructure EPC in TATA Projects. Mr. Deshpande also played a key role to establish Honeywell Advanced Process Control, Optimization & Level 4 Manufacturing MEP business in India.
In July 2011, he took over as a Managing Director of TATA Projects. The company has successfully established its presence in new segments of ‘Urban infrastructure’ and ‘Social Infrastructure’ in the Indian market. Last year, the company featured in World ENR rankings – 2019. At the `Prestigious’ 9th Construction Week Award Ceremony, Tata Projects bagged the ‘Infrastructure Company of the Year’ Award.
