Inception and Quixotic Chief

A company initiated by a farmer, Terra Greens Organic embarked on its journey in the year 2012 after Likitha Bhanu – CEO of Terra Greens Organic, joined her mother, Padmaja Bhanu – Managing Director of Terra Greens Organic. Padmaja was engaged in organic farming from 25 years, which gave Likitha an unprecedented advantage in commencing the journey. The company began with a mission to provide healthy and 100% organic food and started in the retail market.

Likitha is an Engineer and has graduated in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology. She harbours a passion for sustainable living and renewable energy which translated into a goal to begin in organic farming. Having trained at Harvard and Sandford Universities, Likitha believes that food is an integral part of healthy lifestyle choices. With 127 acres of the family farm, Likitha started Terra Greens Organic.

Likitha is actively involved in spreading awareness about considering the right choices not only for ourselves but also, the environment that we live in and hope to contribute to the sustainability movement on a larger scale.
