“It all started during my UPSC preparation days. I used to struggle a lot to get access to proper guidance and relevant study material. The lack of guidance urged me to intervene and do something to solve this problem, which is faced by most aspirants. This was when I thought of establishing Catalyst Group, aiming to make quality teaching and learning easy and affordable for every student in the country,” asserts Mr. Akhand Pandit – Founder & CEO of Catalyst Group.
Mr. Akhand understood the wide gap and thought of doing something about it rather than letting others face the same problems he faced. With this motivation, he founded Catalyst Group in 2017 with the sole aim of helping students across the length and breadth of the country.
He headquartered his company in Jaipur with branch offices in Delhi and Lucknow with an exclusive focus on providing students easy access to quality education and adequate training for cracking competitive examinations.
A PEEKING BEFORE ACHIEVING SUCCESS
It is hard to believe Mr. Akhand was a below-average man as today he is one of the leading figures in the country. A sports enthusiast and want to make a big name in professional bodybuilding during his youth, an incident changed all the dreams he had and something else manifested.
“It was a phone call saying my father had met with an accident. It was important that I studied well to improve my condition. I started studying, and the first government examination I sincerely prepared for was the UPSC. I started teaching to meet my expenses. Whenever I had to learn a particular topic, I started teaching others who were studying the same topic. Not only did this help me make some money, but I also understood the topic better,” Mr. Akhand states.
Mr. Akhand cracked the UPSC examination and was inducted into the Indian Engineering Services.

ONTO NEW CHALLENGES
“While we are already in the process of opening close to 500 offline coaching centers in cities such as Jaipur, Indore, Delhi, Patna, Lucknow, and Pune, in the future, we will be expanding to international demographics such as Nepal, Singapore, and other Asian countries,” claims Mr. Akhand.
He is planning to increase the number of class recording studios in different states and also penetrate tier-II cities and encompass every student in these cities. He is also planning to offer other specialized classes for entrances like CAT, IIT-JEE, MBBS, etc.
