At the helm of Thinkonic is Mr. Piyush Thacker – Co-founder & Director. A seasoned industrial expert in the IT domain with more than a decade and a half of experience. Mr. Piyush has spent most of his career experimenting with Microsoft technologies. He is tasked with strategic planning that is responsible for the company's extraordinary success. Mr. Piyush co-founded Thinkonic with a mission to deliver optimal solutions. These solutions, he has envisioned, are of world-class quality and at the same most affordable. That is where the company's core values lie – in helping organizations build their products or business in a way that supports their overall goals and strategic priorities. To achieve this, he has implemented Extreme Programming (XP) methodology to improve software quality and responsiveness to changing customer requirements.
To keep the company among the top-tier players, Mr. Piyush has ensured every employee has a proper work-life balance. Mr. Piyush started the company with only three employees back in May 2017. Today, Thinkonic is 13 employees strong company with an exclusive focus on quality and commitment towards clients' requirements. By employing the 80-20 rule, he uniquely leads the teams. 80% of the time is allotted for day-to-day activities, while 20% is learning new things.
"We have expertise in Microsoft as well as open-source technologies. We are also looking at Node JS, React JS, AI, chatbots, mobility, and AR solutions. Being a tech company with techie co-founders is always a plus. Our clients use almost all of the major cloud platforms like Azure, Amazon AWS, Heroku, and Digital Ocean. Along with web and mobile software development services, we are also providing consultancy in DevOps and managing cloud infrastructure," states Mr. Piyush.
DYNAMIC PERSONA
Mr. Piyush got introduced to coding at the age of 16, and the rest is history. Enjoying writing small programs in the school lab and later developing an interest in making coding his profession, he completed his bachelor's. He landed a job in an IT company based in Nagpur.
For more than 16 years, Mr. Piyush has played various key roles such as software developer, senior software developer, Team Lead, Project Manager, Vice President of Engineering, and IT Director.
"My dream was to start a company which not only focuses on learning and adapting to new tech but also provides quality of life to people. Work-life balance is essential in one's growth. In 2017, I founded Thinkonic Software Private Limited with the same vision with three people. I'm glad that today we are 13 people who believe in this vision and are happy to be a part of this journey," asserts Mr. Piyush.
He believes the most significant achievement of life is not the degrees, certificates, honors, and awards; despite their value, he thinks it is more important what value addition you are doing in other people's lives.
