It will not be a surprise if the energy industry soon merges with the telecommunication industry. Nearly every industrial sector is undergoing a technological transformation, and the energy industry is no exception.

Various industries have begun to undergo the ‘intelligent’ evolution over the past couple of years. However, Trilliant has been empowering energy providers to integrate renewable and distributed energy sources with actionable intelligence through an open and secure communications platform since 2004.

During the journey of over 15 years, Trilliant has equipped many global energy providers with hybrid wireless communications infrastructure and solutions to become a connectivity industry giant. The vision for Trilliant has been to enable these providers around the world to bring a transition towards smart grid and smart cities with the help of intelligent networks.

The “one size fits all” trend works neither in the connectivity industry nor in the energy industry. Trilliant enables the diverse communication challenges and limitations across the world with its rich ecosystem of partner applications. These partner applications enable energy providers around the world to connect high volume sensors and endpoints while connecting to grids and distribution assets with the utmost simplicity. Additionally, Trilliant employs unlicensed 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies, which are available globally, and can help energy providers serve both their domestic and international end-users with completely divergent requirements.

The linchpin for Trilliant’s accelerating growth is its passion towards serving its best product portfolio to meet the exact needs of its customers. Trilliant believes in striving to offer its customers increased visibility into its networked devices, and transparency is the key!

Trilliant’s devices are widely used in applications in diverse customer bases, including water meters and streetlights by utility providers and organizations of various sizes. Trilliant helps not only in achieving improved efficiency by collecting and surfacing data through the network, but it also lets customers monitor the implementation of each device on its network.

Another important part of the broad substratum of Trilliant’s success is its strategic partnerships grown over the last 15 years. Trilliant shares a strong bond of with some of the world’s leading utility providers, such as Hydro One, TNB, and British Gas. These collaborations have aided the company to deliver networking solutions that have a positive and lasting impact on its customers’ current business models while meeting their future needs.
