Tata Motors is bound to enter the premium hatchback segment with its new Altroz. The car is believed to enter the market rivaling popular hatchback cars such as Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20. Last year in December, Maruti Suzuki Baleno became the top-selling model in India with 18,364 units sold. Ranking fourth in the yearly performance in 2019, the total sale was around 1,83,862 units.
